T echOps Business Data team is responsible for alignment of strategic priorities across operations and designing cross-divisional solutions to achieve operational goals. The Senior Business architecture serves a critical role in the understanding, documentation, maintenance, control, and planning. This position serves as a subject matter expert and perform tasks that contribute to the organization's mission and vision. This role encompasses all aspects of data management.

Their primary scope is to define the key business information domains that are critical to obtaining a single source of truth for TechOps analytics. This role will ensure the TechOps solution will be built using industry standard data models adapted for TechOps use and housed in an integrated data environment that will be kept in sync with its source systems. Proactively p artners with OAP and ODS to align goals to operational scorecard and derive insights.

What you need to succeed

Work collaboratively with senior management and divisional leadership to identify, define, and plan for the most essential operational opportunities and challenges

Identify and analyze important industry data trends and competitive benchmarking to affirm or alter operational strategies as necessary

Identify and recommend organic and inorganic strategies, plans, ideas, partnership opportunities and means of leveraging and maximizing Delta's revenue

Assisting the data architect engineers in revising enterprise conceptual, logical, and physical data models Creating data models that conform to existing standards and conventions

Providing leadership and guidance with enterprise data strategies

Revising data dictionary definitions, governance practices, tools, and standards

Partnering with security architects to ensure compliance with data security and privacy mandates

Working with Data Scientists to solve problems

End-to end data lifecycle management activities

Evaluating and recommending new and emerging data management and storage technologies and standards

Ensuring consistency between data management, enterprise storage and all other technical system components

What will give you a competitive edge

5-7 years of experience with information technology programs and services, with demonstrated expertise in enterprise data management and related technologies

5-7 years of data architect experience

Industry Standard Certifications in Cloud, Infrastructure & Virtualization areas

Experience working as a member of distributed data architecture team
