Chief Industries Corporate Office is seeking a Human Resources Assistant to join the Chief team. This position is r esponsible for performing HR-related duties in the following functional areas: employee relations, training, performance management, onboarding, policy implementation, recruitment, employment, and employee law compliance.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Maintain documentation relating to personnel activities such as staffing, recruitment, training, grievances, and disciplinary actions. Maintain personnel files. Conduct audits of new hire documentation.
  • Administer I-9 and E Verify programs. Maintain work authorization expirations.
  • Maintain the companys applicant tracking system. Assist and develop recruitment strategies. Actively participate in the employee orientation program
  • Recommend new programs or changes to existing programs to better serve employee needs and organization objectives. Coordinate the implementation and administration of HR programs and policies, including staffing, training and development, compliance, and employee relations.
  • Assist with the development and implementation of human resource policies and procedures through employee booklets, communications, and/or meetings.

    Qualifications and Skill Requirements:

    • 1-3 years of progressive HR experience
