Using Data Scientist principles, help build Data Web Applications that power the Growth, GTM, Product, and Sales teams at NewRelic. We seek Data Scientists who are passionate about building web-based data products that will enable the entire company to consume actionable insights.

We are a fast-growing Data Engineering & Technology team building an internal-facing data product with a bold, ambitious vision to build the core data foundation needed to run a successful consumption business. We build core data products, promote data-driven culture, democratize insights through self-service, and establish a single source of truth in business and customer metrics.

Opportunity to work from a remote office may be available depending on applicant location.

What Youll Do

Mine and analyze data from the EDW and other data sources in the organization to build CFS as a foundation to support multiple DS use cases.

Work with internal customers and data engineers to build and deploy Data Science models to support business use cases of customer acquisition, cross-sell/upsell, and customer retention.

Work with Statistical computer languages Python, SQL, and libraries to manipulate data and draw insights from large data sets

Your Qualifications

Must-have:

BS/MS degree in Computer Science or PhD in Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science

Three plus years of experience as a Data Scientist

Hands-on working with Python and SQL.

Demonstrated ability in using numerical and machine learning libraries

Strong experience with the open-source and AWS Cloud ecosystem

Learning/statistical techniques, including Regression, Classification, Ensemble Methods, Deep Learning, and Reinforcement Learning. Nice-to-have:

Natural Language Processing/Machine Learning
