We have an exciting opportunity available for an experienced Business Analyst I on our team and teh position can be a fully remote opportunity. The Analyst I, Business Data is responsible for the development and presentation of comprehensive operational reporting solutions as well as the preparation of analytics used in the business.
Provides support in presenting quantifiable data metrics and visualizations
Assists with strategic initiatives by analyzing outputs and trends of dashboards, data models, reports and data products for the business.
Analyzes existing reports and data to identify opportunities for improvement
Works closely with end users to create value-adding analytical solutions
Develops and maintains standard operating procedures as needed
Conducts routine data audits to ensure defined data quality standards are upheld
Bachelors degree from an accredited university or college and 1 year of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Ability to understand and analyze user requirements as they relate to organizational goals and objectives
Able to communicate effectively with non-technical staff and with members of interdisciplinary teams.
Proficient level of technical reporting knowledge and business acumen.
Solid technical reporting knowledge and business acumen.
Strong critical thinking skills
Effectively prioritizes and successfully executes projects in a high-demand environment
Knowledge of relational databases and navigating large datasets
Strong analytical skills and experience with analytical tools, i.e. dashboards, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Visio, SharePoint
MS Office Suite ; must have advanced Excel knowledge, i.e. v-lookups, charts, pivot tables, etc.
Ability to quickly learn new software programs and processes and apply knowledge to related work
