We have an exciting opportunity opening for an Integration Engineer on our Gray Eagle team located in Poway, CA. This position will support the design, development, and integration of the next generation control station for the Gray Eagle Unmanned Aircraft System . The applicant will have the opportunity to learn all aspects of the Gray Eagle UAS with hands-on experience in virtual operating system environments and advanced networks. This position will also work closely with a diverse team of engineers to incorporate the latest open architecture concepts and modular software design theories in use today. This position will support the integration of these advanced technologies with the goal of increasing the systems performance and maximizing utility of the Gray Eagle product to its customer. Personal career development and mentorship will be provided by team leaders in the interest of advancing and maximizing the applicants potential.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Work closely with Systems Engineering during the design phase to implement new capabilities
Evaluate new system requirements and develop integration procedures to verify proper implementation and functionality
Perform GCS integration and test activities in the System Integration Lab and at the Flight Test facility
Support the Project Engineering staff in the analysis, investigation, and resolution of engineering issues of varying scope and complexity
Develop GCS procedures for use in manufacturing and field environments
Perform functional testing and troubleshooting of equipment and systems by utilizing standard engineering and scientific principles
Responsible for observing all laws, regulations, and other applicable obligations wherever and whenever business is conducted on behalf of the Company
Expected to work in a safe manner in accordance with established operating procedures and practices
Applicant needs to be self-motivated and a self-starter

Job Qualifications:
Typically requires a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Computer Engineering or a related technical discipline from an accredited institution. Applicant may substitute equivalent engineering experience in lieu of specific computer engineering experience
Must have a broad understanding of engineering concepts, principles, codes, and theory in your respective field
Working knowledge of Linux and/or Windows operating systems is desired
Must have good communication and interpersonal skills, an ability to work independently and as a part of a larger team
Have a desire to work in a fast-paced development and test environment
Ability to work extended hours, when necessary, to accomplish time-critical tasks
Ability to travel in support of program activities on an as needed basis
Ability to obtain and maintain a DOD security clearance is required
