Position Title: Warehouse

Reports To: Purchasing Manager

Schedule: Monday through Friday and additional as required/requested

Location: Tampa, FL

Required Qualifications:

Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent

Experience: Experience with shipping, receiving and warehouse operations

Languages: English

Skills/Software: Computer skills Microsoft Office including Excel and Outlook, NSE or similar purchasing software.

Traits: Employee should be alert, ambitious, hard-working, detail oriented, and able to follow instructions. Should have prior experience working in a warehouse environment.

Preferred Qualifications/Skills:

Experience operating forklifts and pallet jacks

Must be able to lift and carry heavy objects up to 80 lbs.

Must be detail oriented with ability to receive and document all materials delivered to the warehouse

Typing and record keeping skills necessary to provide accurate information for managers, buyers, and other office or ship personnel regarding warehouse inventory

Ability to problem solve quickly and prioritize daily tasks

Ability to work independently and safely

Ability to efficiently communicate via email utilizing Microsoft Outlook

Accurately maintain company database in

Duties and Responsibilities:

Responsible for the daily shipping, receiving and warehouse activity for assigned vessels and shore-based locations

Maintain accurate records of materials delivered or shipped and provide accurate representation of all goods shipped and received

Verify all incoming shipments for accuracy by comparing purchase order, invoice, and material received and document in NS .

Organize received and stored items according to stowage plan.

Inventory control.

Arrange and coordinate deliveries to vessels via third party shippers updating delivery schedules in a timely manner.

Assisting the clerical staff with researching Purchase Order / Invoice discrepancies.

Create labels and properly identify items.

Pack pallets for shipments per list of required items.

Perform other tasks, duties and responsibilities as needed or directed by the Purchasing Manager.
