    What you will be doing:

  • Guide team development efforts towards successful project delivery
  • Provide technical leadership to teammates through coaching and mentorship
  • Identify and encourage areas for growth and improvement within the team
  • Maintain high standards of software quality within the team by establishing good practices and habits
  • Collaborate with software engineers, quality assurance analysts, business analysts and software architects to plan, design, schedule, and test web applications and software
  • Assist in the collection and documentation of stakeholder requirements, estimates and work plans
  • Prepare reports, manuals and other documentation on the status, operation and maintenance of software. Design, develop, and unit test applications in accordance with established standards
  • Participate and peer-reviews all code and feature releases
  • Package and support deployment of releases
  • Work with teammates in the migration of legacy applications to currently used technologies
  • Develop, refine, and tune integrations between applications
  • Analyze and resolve technical and application problems
  • Assess opportunities for application development and/or process improvement
  • Adhere to high-quality development principles while delivering solutions on time and on budget.
  • Track and measure Software Quality Metrics like lead time, cycle time, velocity, churn etc.
  • Research and evaluate new software, methodologies, and technologies for implementation
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management

    What you bring to the table:

  • BA/BS degree in Computer Science or related technical field or equivalent practical experience
  • 3+ years' experience as a Software Engineer
  • Prior experience in a technical leadership position
  • 3+ Experience with Node.js, PHP and attributed frameworks
  • Experience with JSON, XML, AJAX and jQuery
  • Experience with ionic desired
  • Experience with Micro service/Service Oriented Architectures
  • Experience working with/developing customer relationship management systems and enterprise resource planning systems or other complex enterprise applications
  • Extensive experience designing and developing enterprise grade software
  • Experience with source control management systems and continuous integration/deployment environments
  • Experience developing data-driven applications utilizing relational and non-relational database engines as part of the overall application architecture
  • Experience with debugging, performance profiling and optimization
