Description:
The Software Development Engineer in Test works independently as part of the Advanced Development team conducting product development of medical devices on the Windows platform.
Responsible for the test planning, execution, and documentation
Author, plan, execute, and report on test protocols for software platforms in support of a series of products.
Design and develop automated testing solutions within the Application Lifecycle Management environment.
Work collaboratively with R&D, sales, clinical and marketing experts to develop requirements within the software space.
Collaborate and partner on design and implementation of the software development foundation for new software-enabled products.
Create, manage, and maintain documentation related to the software design control process.
Top Skills Details:
Must have formal testing knowledge
Experience writing both manual and automation testing
Fundamental programming capabilities , ideally in C/C++ and python
Experience debugging code
CI/CD experience required
Additional Skills & Qualifications:
BS degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field
6+ years overall software development/test experience
Medical device experience is extremely desired. Other highly regulated experience is acceptable
Machine learning is a plus
Computer vision technologies experience is a plus
FDA regulated environment and familiarity with medical standards is strongly desired
Strong verification and validation skills
Strong in Automation Testing
Strong experience with C/C++, and Python.
Strong testing, debugging, and troubleshooting skills
Strong technical leadership skills
Strong understanding of functional, reliability, and performance testing
Continuous integration and continuous deployment experience
Knowledge and experience with control systems
Experience with Scrum software development methodologies
