Physical Therapist - Advanced Clinician - Corporate Onsite
HSS Rehabilitation and Performance is seeking a licensed experienced orthopedic physical therapist to join our corporate onsite physical therapy team. Clinic locations are based on midtown and lower Manhattan and Brooklyn. This dynamic setting offers the opportunity for a clinical expert to enhance their direct access / triage skills, working independently within smaller work groups within corporate a corporate setting of large financial institutions in the Tri-State area. The patient population will encompass a spectrum of orthopedic pathologies, primarily non-surgical. Areas of specialty will require strong difference diagnosis skills and clinical reasoning, the ability to collaborate and communicate well as on onsite vendor and develop relationships with the other health and wellness providers.
To qualify, 3+ years of out-patient clinical expertise with an emphasis in differential diagnosis, examination and treatment of various musculoskeletal pathologies of the spine and extremities; both non-operative and post-operative is required. The candidate must be confident and have experience in a direct access environment. A minimum of 5.6 CEUs in spine and/or manual therapy coursework or in combination with sports specific expertise from an accredited institution is a requirement. Other APTA certifications including OCS is preferable. New York State licensure is a requirement, and New Jersey State Licensure is highly recommended.
Along with clinical expertise, this position requires strong communication, team building and customer service skills. The candidate will be a dynamic self-starter who takes initiative.
