As a Senior Technical Support Engineer, you will be working closely with some of Salesforce Commerce Clouds premier customers. You will be collaborating with their development and operations teams on quickly finding resolutions to sophisticated problems, issues, and incidents..
Our Signature Support team are subject matter experts on the Commerce Cloud platform - from the development tools, to the API, to the merchandising functionality, and the operational capabilities. This team provides the highest level of support and mentorship to our Signature customers.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Working directly with Commerce Clouds Signature customers and solving their issues in a timely manner
Diagnose production and scalability issues using code-debugging tools and various diagnostic/monitoring tools
Support and chip in to the growth of the best standard methodologies for delivery of support services
Serve as a Product Enablement Team Leader for various product features
Represent the Signature Support organization during multi-functional projects, and act as a voice of customer advocacy
Review, build, and expand a knowledge-base
May require work outside of normal business hours, holidays, and some weekends, as this is an on-call position
Typically requires 5-7+ years experience in a customer facing technical support role and Bachelor's degree in Computer Science. Additional related technical experience may be substituted in lieu of education.
Ability to apply your understanding of performance and scalability standard methodologies in debugging performance, and scale issues using data from heap and thread dumps, network traces, garbage collection activity, and other key goals
Familiarity with one or more current client-side web frameworks
Familiarity with development IDEs such as Eclipse and Visual Studio Code
Fundamental understanding of enterprise network infrastructure
Must be local to or willing to relocate to Burlington/Boston MA, Indianapolis IN, Portland/Hillsboro OR, or Bellevue/Seattle WA.
