The Information Privacy & Security Analyst is responsible for assuring information security and managing risks related to client health information. This position supports HIPAA compliant procedures across the organization, including facilitating agency-wide Privacy and Security initiatives and supporting the records release process

Carry out the Privacy and Security assessment process which consists of performing on-site visits, writing reports based on findings, communicating with programs, analyzing processes, and negotiating corrective plans.
Create and maintain processes for monitoring and documenting action plan compliance across the organization.
Continually remain informed of all privacy and security related rules, regulations and best practices that pertain to the agencys programs.
Facilitate agency culture change initiatives in order to create and promote a culture of awareness and responsibility regarding information privacy and security.
Collaborate directly with program leadership, the QA Department, and the legal team
Prepare, document, and process record information requests in a timely and efficient manner ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policy and state and federal guidelines.
Work closely with other members of the organization to obtain necessary information to process record requests.
Bachelors degree required
Masters degree in Social Services or related field preferred
Experience analyzing business processes in a large organization
Thorough understanding of HIPAA rules and regulations
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong problem-solving ability
Solid understanding of organizational information security risk scenarios
Ability to work as a team member and prioritize projects
Reliable transportation and valid drivers license and insurability through Senecas automobile policy
TB test clearance, fingerprinting clearance, and all other state/federal licensing or certification requirements
Proof of COVID-19 vaccinations and booster required
Full-time:
Monday - Friday, 9:00am - 5:30pm
Starting at $33.43 per hour, additional compensation provided upon passing bilingual language proficiency exam
