KPMG is currently seeking a Sr. Specialist, Cyber Security - Cloud and DevOps - to join our Cyber Security Consulting practice
Responsibilities
Deliver leading practices for HashiCorp Vault/Terraform/Consul deployments and operations
Work with clients and project teams to assess, design, implement, and enhance DevOps and Automation solutions and processes
Work closely with key client executive decision makers on product evaluations to ensure the solutions/products meets client business objectives points in Development, IT Operations, and Network Operations
Assist in leading KPMG's HashiCorp Cyber Cloud practice and business development activities
Lead and mentor teams of Cloud architects and engineers
Qualifications
A minimum of three years experiencing architecting, deploying and client adoption of Hashicorp Vault, Terraform and Consul
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience
Experience architecting solutions within Amazon Web Services , Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform or Redhat OpenShift
Proficiency in scripting programming languages - Python, JSON, Ruby, C#, Powershell, YAML
Experience working with distributed software within a linux environment
Experience with Agile Practices like Scrum, Kanban, CI/CD preferred
Proficiency in understanding concepts and technologies in DevOps, IT operations, security, cloud, microservices, containers, distributed systems, and scheduling platforms and experience/familiarity with networking middleware solutions provided by companies such as F5, NGINX, Cisco, Palo Alto Networks, etc.
Experience/familiarity with service mesh control plane/data plane solutions such as Consul, Istio, Linkerd, Envoy, NGINX, HAProxy, etc. and experience with implementing software products or solutions to large and dynamic enterprise companies
Experience in open source software business models and proficiency in cloud, infrastructure, and networking software
Ability and willingness to travel
