The Data Migration Engineer is a member of the ICE Mortgage Technology Professional Services organization providing world-class implementation and consulting solutions alongside a team of mortgage industry veterans, product SMEs, and process experts that are focused on customer success. The Data Migration Engineer interfaces with ICE Mortgage Technology customers in a consultative capacity and performs Encompass data migrations. The ideal candidate is highly organized and has the ability to manage multiple projects at any given time. This individual must work equally effectively with both clients and internal business units to ensure that customer satisfaction goals are met.
Primary Responsibilities & Objectives
Drive successful data migration projects for our customers
Manage multiple active projects in Salesforce.com
Function as a subject matter expert for the Data Migration team
Consult with customers on data migration best practices
Provide technical support to our clients for data migration issues
Document instructions for data migration processes
Quickly and accurately reproduce diverse issues for troubleshooting and root cause analysis
Qualifications, Skills and Education
Bachelors degree or academic equivalent
5+ years of professional experience
Proficiency with Microsoft Office
Prior experience working with cloud-based project and task tools such as Salesforce.com and Teamwork.com
Demonstrated ability to get things done and meet deadlines
Excellent customer service skills that build high levels of customer satisfaction with internal and external clients
Excellent verbal and written communication skills to technical and non-technical audiences of various levels in the organization
Willingly shares relevant knowledge and expertise to other resources
Excellent analytical, decision-making, problem-solving, interpersonal, team, negotiation, conflict management and time management skills
Professional written and oral communication skills to relate to business and technical users
Ability to translate technical instructions or concepts into non-technical easy to understand terms
