We have an exciting opportunity available for an experienced Data Architect on our team based in Ft Lauderdale FL.

The Data Architect is responsible for all aspects of data management in the Envision Healthcares CMS approved Qualified Clinical Data Registry and Qualified Data Registry , The Physicians Quality Registry .The data architect is responsible for importing data into the PQR platform, develop processes to compute clinical quality performance, develop quality data analytics and performance feedback reports and dashboards. The dataarchitect is responsible to optimize the functions and data management in the Quality Data Warehouse. The data architect will collaborate with PQR business analysts, Envision IT resources, for data management, and with Envisionquality services customers to ensure seamless communication related to clinical quality performance. The data architect will develop processes to drive innovation and to drive improvement of clinical quality performance.

The PQR is a wholly owned subsidiary of Envision Healthcare. The PQR facilitates the collection and submission of quality performance data to CMS on behalf of all Envision clinicians and AMSURG. The PQR streamlines the burden of data submission and reporting by using a multi-level quality control methodology. It also provides quality performance related feedback via dashboards and targeted reports to clinicians to improve performance rates for selected quality measures and overall MIPS scores. In partnership with clinicians, hospitals, health systems andpayers, Envision clinicians provide high-quality, cost-effective care that improves the health of communities across the United States. On an annual basis, the PQR submits quality data to CMS that is derived from 19.3 million Emergency Department visits, 2.9 million anesthetics, 16 million radiology studies, 2.4 million patients cared for by hospital medicine, the average daily care of 600 sick babies within NICUs, and over 1.7 million surgical procedures. The PQR is one of the largest QCDR in the United States

Responsibilities

Develops the PQR data management strategy.Mentors data architects and data analysts in the PQR team and other technology teams.

Outlines data acquisition processes from disparate applications and external customer interfaces, including astrategy to load the future data stores using Extraction, Transforming, and Loading .

Builds statistical models, perform statistical testing, and develop protocols for all analysis and reporting programs related to the clinical agenda of the all service lines for Quality Services.

Responsible for Metadata Management solutions for easy access to data definitions and algorithms for business measures including impact analysis and data lineage capabilities.

Responsible for Data Governance with detailed roles and responsibilities for data ownership and stewardship fully defined.

Provides technical expertise and direction for the development of complex enterprise-wide Business Intelligence and decision support systems solutions.Identifies and evaluates technical data architectures to ensure solutions and satisfy business requirements and performance goals.

Formalizes data quality business processes, develops formal workflows and data/information quality metrics.

Develops data strategy and associated polices based on best practice technical architecture models utilizing knowledge of industry and technical trends.

Works on multiple projects as a project leader or sometimes as a business subject matter expert helping to solve complex architectural problems

Promotes a knowledge-sharing environment.

Qualifications

3+ years of experience in healthcare data analytics in a provider group, health plan, TPA, or health system is required.

Ability to communicate complex ideas and analytical proficiency to internal and external stakeholders is required.

Strong critical thinking skills and ability to perform critical analysis with limited oversight is required.

Career steeped in analytics, reporting, performance and outcomes research is preferred

Knowledge of care management and quality improvement practices and experience in benchmarking performance against national, regional, local, and industry trends is preferred

Understanding guiding principles of healthcare data collection, review and analysis is preferred.

Experience in working with the electronic data capture systems including electronic health records is preferred
