Position Summary:

The Re-Entry Enrollment Advisor is responsible for contacting and assisting students interested in returning for their degree program. This position interacts with several cross-functional teams within the University including Student Services, Office of the Deans, Registrars office, and Financial Aid to problem solve for re-entering students.

Essential Functions:

Contact prospective re-entry students using various communication channels.

Performs all final stages of application and enrollment management on behalf of prospects.

Sends acceptance letters and degree plans to applicants.

Communicates effectively and continuously with applicants to keep them involved in the final stages of the enrollment process.

Answers applicants questions and addresses concerns and issues to prepare them to be successful students within the university learning environment.

Assists in resolution of technology issues arising from the application or enrollment process.

Troubleshoots and resolves customer service issues arising during the enrollment process.

Processes first course requests.

Facilitates timely communication with new students to ensure successful enrollment handoff to the Schools Academic Advisor.

Works with one or more mentors to consistently improve skills.

Passes all assessments related to required training.

Maintains high level of customer service at all times.

Maintains a positive working attitude and provides help to other team members, as needed.

Reasonable and consistent attendance to fulfill requirements of the position

Education & Experience:

Bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited university preferred.

Minimum of one years of experience in student support preferred.

Call Center experience preferred.

Education sales experience preferred.

Experience in higher education preferred.

Experience working in a technology-driven enterprise preferred.

All skills, abilities and education will be considered for minimum qualifications.

Enterprise Resource Planning software experience such as Customer Relationship Management or Student Information Systems experience, highly desirable.

Competencies/Technical/Functional Skills:

Ability to organize and prioritize tasks without being dependent on tasks being served automatically by a system.

Ability to sort and filter Excel reporting with limited help/training.

Comfortable with learning various computer software and can articulate to applicants/students how to navigate them.

Ability to remain goal-oriented and exceed goals while working in a fast-paced environment.

Ability to use and facilitate online communication using email and/or other technology-based communication media.

Ability to work well in a team environment.

Strong writing skills .

Ability to handle questions regarding various aspects of the enrollment process, including but not limited to scholarships, financial aid, etc.

Ability to understand and interpret the needs of prospective Students.

Proficient with Microsoft Word and other applications in the Microsoft Office suite
