Production Scheduler

We are looking for a Production Scheduler to join a global engineering and manufacturing leader in tech that does cool stuff that matters. Reporting to the Integration Manager, you will influence business success by using your organization and time management skills to build and maintain a robust production schedule within a high-tech industry. You will be responsible for creating schedules, solving production problems, seeking to improve processes, and helping to meet timelines on some exciting projects. This role requires you to multitask and provide quick responses to production problems while ensuring that the production team meets its goals and objectives for the on-time delivery.

Within the Autonomy & Positioning division your work will contribute to the operation of our brand NovAtel, AutonomouStuff, VERIPOS and Antcom.


The Location: Hexagon is a global company with locations around the world. This position is based in Morton, IL. 


As  Production Scheduler,  you will:

Create and manage multiple simultaneous production schedules

Ensure production teams meet critical deadlines

Optimize production workflow and performance

Provide constructive feedback to team members

Create long-term and short-term production schedules

Use workers and resources in the most effective manner

Provide quick responses to production issues

Identify problems and help improve processes

Generate reports to track on time delivery and schedule accuracy

Ensure that company deadlines are met

Follows all safety related policies, rules, regulations, technical instructions, and guidelines

Travel to customer locations to support remote projects may be required


Must Have:

Bachelors Degree in Business or a related field, or associate degree in Business with 5 years of experience in a production scheduling role preferred

Increasing levels of responsibility in a production environment

Key Success Factors:

Ability to create and understand reports in order to make production decisions

Excellent communication skills both written and verbal

Nice to Have:

PMI-SP certification
