The Business Systems Analyst - ERP is responsible for conducting, transacting and documenting the complex configuration process activities surrounding the companys ERP platform, Microsoft Dynamics. This role is responsible for solving systems and process related problems by working with internal clients and enhancing ERP related workflows using their business knowledge, communication skills, data mining and packaged ERP solution expertise.  Initially this position will be focused on our transition from AX2012 to Dynamics365, and then will transition into continuous improvement after a successful go-live.


Primary Responsibilities:

Defined & documents business processes, data maps, and consults with end users for requirements, functionality, and solutions. Specifying system designs, data, workflow and logical processes to meet business objectives.

Perform application configuration & management, customer relationship management , project coordination, and identify/evaluate potential new solutions.

Principally drive D365 feature scopes, testing, and code promotion processes

Data mining and analytical evaluations

Gather data and document requirements for ERP reporting, process improvements and data governance

Provide technical assistance by responding to inquiries from end users and/or technical staff regarding application, system, and reporting issues. Training end users on relevant applications.

Maintain strong knowledge of industry trends, and Microsofts product offerings and enhancements

Analyze ERP enhancement requests; prioritize, escalate, and communicate to the end user or manager any actions/changes regarding the change request


Skills and Experience Requirements:

Customer oriented and able to trouble shoot specific errors with end-users in a means that builds collaboration, understanding, and confidence with systems and team.

Degree in Business Management, or Information Systems, or equivalent business experience and education combined

3-5 years in similar ERP focused role in a manufacturing environment using Dynamics

Understanding of manufacturing ERP systems and processes, including general accounting, manufacturing and inventory controls, distribution, and sales order processing

Experience leading and coordinating change in a team oriented, collaborative environment across multiple geographic areas

Understanding of relational database principles and methods

Ability to travel to business sites and events when requested

Strong communication skills
