At MCRT a Development Administrators primary responsibility is to provide support to the development team with the administration of all development projects including managing budgets, processing invoices and monthly draws, assisting with closings, market research, site acquisition, due diligence, managing the contract process and financing. This position reviews each phase of the construction process and coordinate building specifications including FF&E, Low Volt etc.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Prepare and manage project development budget from pre-development through construction.
Liaison between development office and accounting group.
Research / analyze financial information for Multi-Family development projects.
Review all job cost reports prepared by accounting group.
Communicate job cost information to lenders and equity partners monthly and respond to questions.
Basic understanding of State real estate property tax system. Submit and manage tax exemptions during construction. Budget for and ensure timely payment of taxes through construction.
Work with Title Company and attorneys on land, equity and loan closings and refinancing. Basic understanding of title / survey / escrow.

Education and/or Experience
Bachelors degree in Business, Finance, Real Estate, Accounting, or other related field.
Minimum of one to three years experience in real estate, development or finance.
Multi-Family real estate experience a plus.
Ability to read, write, understand, and communicate in English.
Ability to use a personal computer and have an advanced knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point, and MS Project.
Excellent interpersonal skills; ability to relate to others.
Professional verbal and written communication skills.
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Ability to perform advanced mathematical and accounting functions.
Must be proactive, self-directed, and highly motivated.
