The Signature Healthcare Office Based Addiction Treatment Program is looking for an innovative, dynamic Physician to join our program that provides opioid use disorder treatment through a variety of interventions including medication induction and maintenance with Suboxone/buprenorphine-naloxone. We are outcomes driven and have a strong focus on the holistic well-being of the patient. We have been watching the opioid epidemic grow in Massachusetts and around the nation, and we are motivated to provide patient centered services that will make a difference. We are looking for someone who has enthusiasm, creativity and flexibility to join us.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

Provide direct patient care for persons with OUD with interventions that support the HARM REDUCTION MODEL frame work and approach to treatment.

Create treatment plans and ongoing evaluations for those with OUD along the spectrum of recovery including new patient intakes, established patient follow up visits, and induction and maintenance of Suboxone.

Ensure that appropriate laboratory studies have been performed and reviewed.

Ensure that a medical evaluation has been performed at admission.

Ensure appropriate documentation in the patient record.

Continuous quality improvement with regular meetings, patient reviews and education

Collaboration with the OBAT team which includes our Nurse Practitioner, Peer Recovery Coach, the Addiction Consult Service at Signature Brockton Hospital, and the support staff

Participates in the practice and operations of the Signature OBAT program including access to care, patient satisfaction initiatives, and provider compliance with department and group policies.

Qualifications:

Board Certified/Board Eligible

MA license, DEA, MA Control with DATA Waiver to prescribe Suboxone
