We are seeking a bright, motivated, team-oriented professional to join our team.
The Portfolio Administrator and Research Assistant will be responsible for order management, counterparty reporting, client monitoring and model communications. Order management includes rebalancing for new clients, cash flows and block creation. Our ideal candidate should understand portfolio modeling to maximize tax advantages, appropriate account inclusion for block trading and a clear sense of each strategys objective.
In addition, the candidate will work 10 to 15 hours/week with the Portfolio Management and Research team gathering and organizing data.
The Portfolio Administrator and Research Assistant will work directly with and support the Aristotle Equity Trading Desk, acting as a liaison between Operations and Client Portfolio Managers. As a Research Assistant, the individual will work with and support Aristotles Research team.
This individual must be a detail-oriented, disciplined professional with experience in equity trading and settlements. This individual must also possess excellent organizational skills and an interest in companies, finance, and investments. International/Emerging Markets/Fixed Income trading exposure a plus. Must possess excellent communication/writing skills.

What You Will Do:
Generate/Review block trades by monitoring client objectives, restrictions, and cash availability
Rebalance client portfolios across multiple strategies and accounts
Work closely with Client Portfolio Managers for systematic review of client guidelines for their portfolios
Compile various reports for internal and external counterparties
Maintain and communicate Unified Managed Account models across multiple strategies and platforms
Enter orders in the Firms order management system at the instruction of Portfolio Managers for block trades, account rebalances and more
Monitor cash flows and proposes orders as needed to keep accounts in line with the respective model portfolio
Work with Compliance and Operations as needed to resolve operational issues
Onboard and set up new accounts in the Firms OMS
Support system enhancements, upgrades, and more in relation to the Firms OMS
Provide additional analysis and trade support as requested by Portfolio Managers and/or Traders
Gather and organize roadshows, conferences, company meetings and other relevant information for the Aristotle research team
Arrange meetings between research team members and external parties
Maintain and improve spreadsheets utilized by the research team, potentially including those tracking portfolio positions, risk exposures and returns, event calendars, research entitlements, etc.
What You Will Need:
3-5 years of experience supporting portfolio managers and/or traders.
In-depth knowledge of Charles River Investment Management Solution, Bloomberg, Vestmark, APL, Geneva, and MS Office.
Strong quantitative, analytical and communication skills.
Excellent organizational skills with outstanding attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to communicate and work well with others, including investment professionals.
Prior experience and expertise working with US and Global Equity securities.
Broad knowledge of the lifecycle of a trade from order building through pre-trade compliance, and downstream to Operations is required to be successful in this role.
Strong critical thinking skills.
Highly analytical and data-driven.
Proactive and able to hit the ground running.
Advanced MS Excel knowledge.
