ManTech is seeking a SAFe Agile Coach to join our growing team supporting our USMC intel contract in Stafford, VA.
This position requires an active DOD TS/SCI clearance .
General Responsibilities :
Tracking and reporting on task progress against established milestones for each Sprint.
Performing administrative functions within Agile project management tools, such as SharePoint Online, Power Apps, and Power Bi in support of customer requirements, including project modification and custom workflow development, automation, report development and analysis.
Act as a trusted advisor to the customer; guiding them through adopting and implementing Agile practices across various business functions, to include the following customer support.
Lead training to educate individuals and teams on Agile Values, Principles, and Practices.
Coach teams & leaders on the mindset change required to transform their existing operational practices to follow agile approaches.
Lead Sprint planning, review, and retrospective sessions to provide direction and communicate value to Scrum teams, Product Owners, and project stakeholders.
Guide Agile teams on how to self-organize and plan work into enabling features and stories along program increments and sprints, including:
Execution of SAFe/Scrum/Kanban practices and instill SAFe values.
Assessing the degree of scrum maturity and coaching the team to higher levels, at a pace that is sustainable and comfortable for the team and organization.
Removing impediments and guiding the team to remove impediments.
Building a trusting and safe environment where problems can be raised without fear of blame, retribution, or being judged, with an emphasis on healing and problem-solving.
Facilitating a culture of getting the work done without coercion, assigning, or dictating the work.
Facilitating discussion, decision making, and conflict resolution.
Assisting with internal and external communication, improving transparency, and radiating information.
Providing all support to the team using a servant-leadership style whenever possible and leading by example.
Supporting Product Owners in communicating value, managing the backlog of features, and helping plan work with the Scrum team to break down work into achievable product deliveries.
Supporting the end-to-end requirements of on-site training and/or facilitation events, to include:
Develop a detailed agenda
Manage the roster of attendees
Submit the VRL for Security/Management approval
Set up the room prior to an event and restore the room to its original
configuration at the close of an event, including rearranging tables/chairs,
testing A/V to be used in the conference room, distributing supplies to be
used by attendees, etc.
Transport and setup GFE laptops when needed during an event; return to
storage at the close of the event
B.S. in computer science, information technology, or other technical/Information related discipline.
Minimum/General Experience: B.S. with 5 years of experience, or at least 10+ years of relevant experience with exceptional references.
Must possess an active TS/SCI clearance.
Advanced proficiency in Office365, including PowerPoint and Excel.
Advanced proficiency with Agile project management tools, such as SharePoint Online, Power Apps, Power Bi, in support of customer requirements, including project modification and custom workflow development, report development and analysis
Certified in SAFe
Experience training individuals/groups on technical processes
Effective working directly with customers, specifically with gathering requirements and demonstrating solutions
Experience with solutions develop based on designated requirements
Experience developing facilitation/training materials from scratch to meet the needs of a particular event
Must be able to be in a stationary position more than 50% of the time
