Position Description
This is a full-time, permanent opportunity within CBI’s Architecture & Integrations practice. The Project Manager will be accountable and responsible for planning, executing, and evaluating various cyber projects according to predetermined timelines and budgets. Managing stakeholder expectations, building, and managing project teams and ensuring quality control throughout the project life cycle are essential to this position. This is not a technical role however, we do prefer candidates who work within a technical department or have experience with a technical services organization.
Key Responsibilities
Serve as central point of contact for all project stakeholders with expanded duties into large programs
Responsible for planning and directing all project activities leading to the successful delivery and acceptance of engagement deliverables on time, within scope and budget with a high level of quality
Manage internal and external expectations and communications in regards to delivery, performance and customer satisfaction
Drive cross functional project teams, vendors, partners/subcontractors towards completion of objectives through delegation, influence and clear communication
Provide leadership to manage change through effective change management
Raise/escalate customer issues, concerns, risks in a timely manner, and, track and drive to resolution
Responsible and accountable for key project management functions:
Resource management and planning
Create project plans, schedules and monitor project progress against critical milestones
Coordinate and manage communication flow via formal communication plans
Conduct regular status meetings and present project status to project team, management, and customers
Represent the project team in discussions about status, dependencies, risks and issues with enough understanding to conduct those discussions autonomously
Develop and report executive summaries
Track and/or manage project financials and budgets
Ensure all project documents are safely archived following project completion
Produce PMO required reports
Enforce the proper usage of CBI tools to support service delivery
Enforce adherence to the applicable CBI processes
Contribute to continuous improvement of company standard methodologies and best practices
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent applicable work experience in IT project management, leading client facing initiatives
3+ years of project management experience IT, technology, cybersecurity, etc
PMP certification is preferred
Must have excellent organizational, written and verbal communication skills
Must be capable of interfacing with personnel at all levels of the organization
Must understand effective project planning, including management of project budgets, margins, rates, and the interplay between them
Strong computer skills, especially in Outlook, MS Project, Excel, Power Point and Word
Must have the ability to lead, assign tasks and mentor people
Must have strong problem-solving skills
