Reports to: Administrator
Shift: Monday - Friday; 8:30am - 5:30pm
The Receptionist will greet, assist, and provide direction and information to patients, visitors, and other guests at the facility.
Greets patients, visitors, and guests; determines the purpose of each persons visit and directs or escorts them to the appropriate location
Answers, screens, and directs phone calls; takes messages and schedules appointments if needed
Receives mail, documents, packages, and courier deliveries and delivers or distributes items.
Performs administrative and clerical support tasks
Performs basic filing and recordkeeping
Report any complaints to immediate supervisor
EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE:
High School Diploma or GED
Excellent verbal communication skills,
Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
Basic understanding of administrative and clerical procedures and systems
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
This job operates in a professional office environment.
This role routinely uses standard office equipment
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; talk or hear.
Extensive standing for long periods of time and walking long distances
Work flow subject to frequent interruptions
Must be able to lift up to 20lbs
May be subject to work outside of the facility when working under inclement weather
