Overview
The RN Charge leads, supervises and directs and/or delegates all nursing functions on assigned unit or floor in our skilled nursing facility, to assure care is provided per plan of care. This position must demonstrate sound management skills through problem solving and decision making. They are responsible to monitor compliance with State and Federal regulations as well as Ebenezer Standards and policies.
64 hours in two weeks
Night Shift Hours, every other weekend and rotating holidays

Aurora on France is a state of the art care community, attached to Fairview Southdale in the heart of Edina near many medical centers/providers. Responsibilities/Job Description
Assures staff compliance with State and Federal regulations, Nursing Standards of Practice and Ebenezer Quality Assurance Standards
Assures Care Plan, medical records and other documentation are up to date
Administers medications and performs treatments per physician orders and facility policies
Reports problem areas to management and provides suggestions and solutions
Serves as facility supervisor and assumes administrative responsibilities as assigned
Qualifications
Required:
Current MN RN license or by start date
AHA BLS for Healthcare Providers or Red Cross CPR for Professional Rescuers
Preferred:
Must be comfortable using Microsoft windows and electronic charting systems
Work experience in a patient support role, LPN or RN
Good written and verbal communication skills to interact with residents, families and physicians or providers
Ability to work with and have sensitivity to the needs of the geriatric population

Vaccination Update
As part of our ongoing efforts to protect the wellbeing of our teams and to provide a safe and healthy environment for the patients and communities we serve, all Ebenezer employees will be required to receive both an annual flu vaccination and the COVID-19 vaccination series. Current employees must have completed both vaccination schedules on or before January 4, 2022.
Any new hires who are not fully vaccinated against COVID-19 are required to receive their first dose prior to their start date and their second dose within 4 weeks of their start date. Annual flu vaccinations are also required before the employment start date for employees who begin employment during the flu season. Accommodations requests will be reviewed on an individual basis.
