Norfolk Southern has an immediate opening for an SAP BW/BOBJ Developer with 3 plus years of experience. This position will be a part of the Synergy Team, a sub-group of the IT department responsible for SAP projects, at our campus in Midtown Atlanta, GA.
Understand existing SAP BW/BOBJ landscape and solution to support business with questions on data/reports.
Work closely with SAP functional teams and business to gather reporting requirements.
Evaluate Functional Specifications to provide project time and resource estimates and complete technical documentation.
Design, build and support BW Models, BEx queries and BOBJ Reports.
Provide end user support and troubleshooting assistance for Analysis for Excel and BOBJ Client tools.
Perform BW development reviews and maintain reporting standards.
Work closely with our offshore BW team to provide support with BW system maintenance , monitoring of the BW system, and resolving complex technical errors in the system.
Participate in testing related to various SAP versions and Support Pack upgrades.
Required Education, Skills, and Abilities:
3 plus years of hands-on experience in SAP Business Warehouse 7.5 on HANA, Modelling, Extraction and Report Design, Query Designer and SAP Business Objects tool.
Experience in HANA BW Modelling tool .
Knowledge in BW related ABAP coding .
Understanding of various SAP functional modules .
Knowledge of HANA views, SAP Analytics Cloud Reporting and Planning would be a plus.
Knowledge of Business Objects Analysis for Office and WEBI.
Strong analytical, communication and interpersonal skills.
Bachelors degree or Equivalent in Computer Science.
