Job Summary
Dominion Energy is looking to hire a Senior Network Analyst in Richmond, VA to support Dominions Data Network.
Primary job duties include, but not limited to :
Configure and install network devices and services .
Perform network maintenance and system upgrades including service packs, patches, hot fixes and security configurations.
Monitor network performance and ensure system availability and reliability.
Monitor network resource utilization, trending, and capacity planning.
Provide Level 2/3 support and troubleshooting to resolve issues.
Work within established configuration and change management policies to ensure awareness, approval and success of changes made to the network infrastructure.
Select and implement security tools, policies, and procedures in conjunction with the companys security team
Liaise with vendors and other IT personnel for problem resolution.
The successful candidate must keep current with regulatory and industry standards, trends and practices and assist in the development of pertinent Dominion Energy policies and procedures.
Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Experience
5 years of telecommunications network experience.
Excellent understanding of network planning or analysis.
Strong engineering and operational skills in Enterprise routing and switching environments
Deep understanding of network routing protocols: EIGRP, BGP, OSPF
Skills not required but considered a plus:
MPLS, Cisco ACI, CISCO ISE, SD-WAN technologies, Wireless
F5 load balancing, Infoblox, SolarWinds , Firewalls
Cloud-based connectivity
RoIP, Multicast, Voice over WLAN, WiFi
Packet decoding technology
Experience with NERC CIP environments
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including network diagraming
Must be self-motivated, a collaborative team member, and able to work with many teams on large projects

Military service members and veterans with ranks from E5-E9, W1-CW5, or O3-O6 plus appropriate equivalent combination of education and years of experience as outlined above.

Education Level: Degree or an equivalent combination of education and demonstrated related experience may be accepted in lieu of preferred level of education: Bachelor , Other Education: Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, Math or Business or technical equivalent.
