Job Description

The Administrative Assistant works to support the Organization in an office setting. Job duties may include but are not limited to:

Open mail, answers telephones and directs mail, faxes, and phone calls to appropriate people.

Copy, file and fax documents.

Edit, compose, format, update and proof read letters, memos and reports for distribution.

Prioritize work load and manages projects with minimal supervision or direction and according to business needs.

Follow-up on projects to ensure the projects are completed.

Attend meetings and take meeting minutes.

Fill out appropriate forms within the company .

Order and maintain office supplies.

Schedule conference rooms for meetings, reserve equipment that might be necessary for scheduled meeting. Order lunch for meeting if requested by meeting organizer.

High School Diploma, General Equivalency Diploma

Strong organizational, typing and filing skills, including ability to use Microsoft Office, Excel, and Word.

Knowledge of filing and data maintenance systems and an ability to provide accurate and up-to-date files and data.
