JOB SUMMARY :

Under direction of the Meeting Sales SVP , the Meeting Sales Division Intern will assist the National Meetings & Events Division with the general day to day operations and engagement activities to support both the corporate Team Member population as well as assist with special projects that have enterprise-level impact. The Meeting Sales Division Intern will uphold a professional disposition and act with integrity and confidentiality for the duration of their internship and beyond. This internship will provide exposure to Team Member Relations, Engagement, and Industry Experience .

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE :

Actively enrolled in a college or university as a Junior, Senior, or Graduate student

High school diploma or equivalent required

OFFICE ENVIRONMENT:

Must be able to work regular business hours, 8am - 5pm, Monday - Friday

Must be able to speak, read, write, and understand English.

Proficient in Windows environment, especially with PowerPoint, Word, and Excel

Must be able to tolerate areas containing secondhand smoke.

Ability to maintain regular, predictable attendance according to schedule and have flexibility for NME industry events on weekends and after regular business hours to work on sales project.

Must have manual dexterity to operate all office equipment.

Must be able to recognize and respond to individuals with questions or seek assistance

Must be able to maneuver around office and property

Must be able to work independently.

Must be able to lift and carry 10 pounds.

Must be able to bend, crouch, kneel, twist and work at a desk/counter when performing functions of the job.

Must be able to complete NME project by 8/23/22.
