A Senior Software Engineer is a full-stack software engineer and coach that is an expert at working in all layers of an application and guiding the team toward continuous growth and improvement. You collaborate with your team as a master hands-on developer architecting, designing, and delivering technology solutions to transform healthcare into a safer and more cost-effective industry. You embrace Agile methodologies in your approach and process. You help build the development capability of a team while influencing the technical direction of a largerorganization. Youwork with other technical leaders across the teams to ensure integration across products.

The Mission of Client Central :

Client Central is a product within Connect. Our team is primarily responsible for Client Central with the following mission:

Provide clients with data and analytics that areaccurate, complete, relevant, andtimelyfor understanding their programs.

Empower clients withself-servicetools for business intelligence and reporting, allowing Client Services to focus on higher value tasks.

Driveinsightsfor clientswith tools that demonstratevalueof their programs.

Enable clients to meetcompliancereporting requirements.

Allow Connect toscaleas we add clients and programswhile managing the growth of reporting staff.

Protectpatient privacyby providing centralized and auditable access to PHI by clients.

Accountabilities:

Software engineer, technologist, coach, and mentor with a desire to develop products that positively impact lives.

You are a self-driven innovator, creative, and love to solve problems through technology to create quality code and robust, scalable applications.

Involvement in all stages of product design and development,from architecture, design, requirements gathering, building, and testing a scalable production system.

Active hands-on coding for both front end and back end.

Provides mentoring/coaching of front and back end coding for junior team members.

Collaborating with others, building an inclusive environment, andhave a record ofimprovingyour teamsability to deliver.

Qualifications:

Degree in Computer Science,SoftwareEngineering, or equivalent preferred

Stronginterpersonal and communication skills

8 or more years as a software engineerwith 2 or more years leading and coaching other software engineers preferred

Significanthands-onexperience across the entiretechnologystack:

Understanding customer and business needs

User interface

User experience

Data modeling

Business logic

API layer / Action layer / MVC

Server, network, and hosting environment

Specific expertise in these technologies is needed:

Proficiency in multiple programming languages

Comfortable workingwith open-source technologies.

Java and Spring framework

Javascript

Proven experience withclient-side web development.

Two years or more hands on experience with ReactJS.

Expertise with relational ornoSQLdatabases

Proficiency in data modeling andAPI design.

Expertise withRESTfulweb services

Expertise with TDD and/or BDD.
