General Purpose:

P roactively sell and recruit healthcare professionals through various sources, including internet resources, company databases, company provided leads, referrals and social media. Develops, builds and maintains candidate relationships through effective sourcing and selection techniques.

Essential Functions :

  • Builds relationships with clients and field staff.
  • Actively manages available field staff to maximize hours worked per FTE.
  • Communicates with multiple customers to determine staffing needs and arranges/coordinates the requests.
  • Coordinates, supervises and evaluates the professional and paraprofessional field staff.
  • Performs all office functions in compliance with federal, state, local laws and all policies, procedures, and standards of Interim Healthcare Staffing Office.  Assists in payroll and billing functions as needed.
  • Communicates appropriately among the Interim customers, other Interim employees, affiliated vendors and corporate departments.
  • Completes documentation accurately, legibly, and timely for office processes.
  • Markets available field staff through client marketing calls, i.e. faxed nurse profile forms.
  • Maintains knowledge of current regulations for healthcare staffing.
  • Follows policy and procedures as directed.
  • Brings concerns forward appropriately to supervisor.
  • Promotes an environment of high morale and teamwork.
  • Works with supervisor and other team members towards office and business goals.
  • Takes appropriate and timely measures to meet the needs of the customer and employees.
  • Maintains mature problem solving approach under stressful circumstances.
  • Assists in development of recruitment strategies.
  • Works to meet set financial goals of office for sales growth and diversity of business.
  • Follows pay and bill structures set by office. Gets appropriate approval for overtime, rewards or motivators for field staff, from supervisor.
  • Completes other assignments as requested and assigned.
  • May have access to personal health information necessary to fulfill the above duties and responsibilities.  Access to use and ability to disclose PHI is further defined by each organization/department.

     

    Minimum Education & Experience Requirements:

    Bachelor’s degree.

    Minimum of two years of full-cycle recruiting experience in an agency or corporate environment.

    One year of high-volume healthcare related recruitment experience to include RNs, and CNAs .

    Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required:

    Keen personal assessment skills with the ability to accurately evaluate professional qualifications, work experience and personal characteristics.

    Strong customer focus required.

    Demonstrated critical thinking, flexibility and negotiation skills.

    Proven networking capabilities and creativity in sourcing candidates.

    Ability to quickly build rapport and maintain trust based relationships.

    Must be able to work productively in an environment with high levels of interruption; work efficiently and effectively meeting multiple deadlines and changing priorities with strong attention to detail.

    Adept at managing multiple high-volume hiring campaigns.

    Must be an effective communicator both verbally and in written form.

    Must have strong interpersonal relationship skills.

    Exceptional organization skills.

    Demonstrates knowledge of hiring laws, policies, procedures and guidelines. 

    Strong work ethic; results focus with a strong desire to achieve goals.

    Ability to maintain confidentiality. 

    Ability to work independently as well as in a team.

    Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of management.

    Knowledge of Applicant Tracking Systems.

    PC proficient to include MS Office, MS Excel, Outlook and the Internet.
