The Client Service Associate is responsible for assisting the Account Management team with client-focused and internal service tasks including:


Provide administrative support to Account Management teams;

Manage multiple client service requests daily through telephone and email;

With guidance from Account Management team, assist with renewal preparation, which may include gathering plan data, requesting benefit plan invoices and completing a census;

Assist Account Management teams with plan implementation and the enrollment process for renewals and/or changing carriers;

Work with Account Management teams and carriers to ensure new hires are enrolled, status changes are processed and terminated employees are removed from appropriate policies;

Under direct supervision, assist with the creation of client reports and other client-facing documents;

Maintain accuracy of agency databases by gathering necessary information and entering the data in a timely manner;

Assist with client events and special projects as needed;

Other duties, as needed

High school diploma required

Licensing: As needed per local/state statutory requirements. The goal is to be licensed within 6 months. Effective time management, follow project plans

Strong attention to detail and organization skills

Ability to problem solve and work well with minimal oversight

Adhere to all agency systems, procedures and state regulations

Communicate effectively orally and in writing

Proficient with MS Office tools

Broad knowledge of insurance products and usages and ability to work independently

Department Account Management & Service

Required Experience: 1-2 years of relevant experience

Required Travel: No Travel Required

Required Education: High school or equivalent
