JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

Penn State Erie, Behrend Office of Community and Workforce Programs is seeking a part time adjunct CDL Class A instructor for classroom training. Must have the ability to effectively communicate & provide training to others. Ability to develop assigned curriculum. A valid US CDL class A driver's license, and successful completion of a motor vehicle records check will be required in addition to standard background checks. Minimum of 3 years verifiable over the road or local commercial driving experience. Must possess and maintain a good driving record with DOT/DMV. This position does not require Behind the Wheel skills training but rather theory in the classroom to prepare students for the skills training. Courses are scheduled in various ways and are offered mornings, afternoons, evenings, and on Saturdays throughout the year.
