The RN is an important member of the care team. Their work assists with the compliance of the Klamath Falls office with state regulations governing In-Home Care. We are looking for a nurse that believes in the value of allowing people to age in place, in the comfort of their home. Responsibilities:

Share the responsibility to deliver an excellent experience at every interaction

Perform quarterly visits to clients that receive medication services from New Horizons

Teach our state-approved medication classes to our caregivers

Perform RN delegation of nursing tasks to our caregiving staff

As requested by Klamath Falls administrator, perform nursing assessments to determine the appropriateness of a client for In-Home Care

Present a professional appearance and promote a positive work environment

Qualifications:

Current, unencumbered Oregon RN license

Good documentation skills

Positive, energetic and outgoing personality

Possess strong written, verbal communication skills. It is essential to be comfortable working with diverse populations

Ability to work a flexible schedule and travel locally around Klamath Falls

Must have a strong grasp of federal and state laws and ethical issues pertaining to PHI confidentiality and HIPAA requirements

Valid Oregon Driver's license
