Providence is calling a Patient Services Representative at Providence Medical Group - Northwest Washington in Snohomish County area.
Part time position, 24-36 hours per week . This position is eligible for pro-rated benefits.
This position works under the direction and supervision of the Clinic Supervisor or Practice Manager. The position will support the delivery of cost-effective, clinically competent, reliable healthcare by following the core values of Providence Medical Group justice, excellence, dignity, integrity, and compassion.
Position responsibilities may include but are not limited to:
First point of contact for patients .
Greet and check-in patients, in a friendly and courteous manner.
Direct flow of patients and calls. Address incoming and outgoing calls.
Schedule, reschedule, and cancel appointments.
Ensure patient demographics and medical insurance is accurate.
Process clerical records and other paperwork.
Process credit card payments and complete daily payment balancing.
Request, review, and attach referrals to specialty appointments. Be first point of contact for patient referral questions.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Required qualifications:
High school diploma or GED
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
One year of customer experience
Knowledge of medical terminology
